The Phlebotomy Technician Program from Cambridge, provides the hands-on training, practical experience and industry support it takes to become a skilled medical professional in as little as 11 weeks*.

What Does A Phlebotomy Technician Do?

Typically the Phlebotomy Technician works directly with patients, reporting results to doctors, nurses and other medical professionals by performing the following duties:

  • Drawing blood from patients
  • Patient evaluation
  • Venipuncture procedures
  • Performing basic point of care testing
  • Checking blood glucose levels
  • Preparing blood, urine and other bodily fluids for testing
  • Reporting results to doctors and medical offices

This program blends classroom lectures administered by industry-leading experts with hands-on clinical rotations that utilize technologically-advanced equipment in current, real-life settings. 

*3 month program length when completed in normal time.
